Starting Upgrade to FS2020

Just installed the update myself but I'll wait until tomorrow to fly. I'm going to do a defrag overnight and then give it a shot with SPAACARS after work.

Now add $350 for 32 Gig of memory and a 1TB SSD. Perhaps more if I can't get it installed by myself.

Hah, thanks Robert. Yes...I'm still a bit daunted after a failed install of my 1080TI, don't know what I did wrong to this day, but I was afraid I was wrecking or had wrecked about a $1000 graphics card. I threw the whole thing in my car and took it to Mircocenter.

Fortunately today's install went a bit better, 32Gig DDR3 Memory was immediately recognized. About 45 minutes of frustration when the computer found the SSD as the boot drive, and for a time, didn't see the other drives that actually had data, and the boot system on it. Finally managed to get it to boot on the correct drive and recognize all the drives, but the SSD not showing in the File Explorer. Had to read up on Win10 Disk Manager to figure that out.

Now currently moving the entire MSFS to the new SSD using the control panel's nifty "move" feature for MSFS. I'll let you know how it works, out, but so far I think I've earned a glass of wine or two tonight.
